  1. Organizing your Family History

    Now that you've learned the basics of genealogy searching, what do you do with all of those great documents and photos that you've found in your search? Keeping up with all of that information and making sure that you can pass it down to others in your family can be overwhelming. This class will teach you how to care for, organize and share your genealogy research with your loved ones. PREREQUISITES: Attendance of the Basic Genealogy class at DPPL or basic knowledge of genealogy research is required. Space is limited so registration is required. Register by phone or in person.

    Enjoy a night out with your family while you create a beautiful masterpiece you can take home at the end of class. No painting experience necessary with the step by step instruction. Parents of young children are asked to stay to assist. Masterpiece for this night: Haunted House!

  2. 44th Annual Halloween Carnival

    October 28, 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Jimmy Burke Activity Center

    Free parking and free admission to this special event for the whole family. Put on your craziest and family-friendly costume and let the spirit move you to enter the costume contest, hop on some carnival rides or enter the pumpkin carving/decorating contest. There will be activities for the little ones including fun games in Pumpkin Town. You can stroll down the friendly community streets of Pumpkin Town from 12 - 3pm for plenty of great carnival games.
